Presentation format and facilities

Following the meeting of the International Paper Committee, all contributors will be notified whether their short paper has been accepted into the Scientific Program for a lecture or poster presentation.

Lecture sessions

Papers selected for presentation as lectures will be arranged by subject in 10-14 parallel sessions. A period of 15 minutes, plus 5 minutes discussion, will be allotted to each paper. Standard audio-visual equipment (overhead projector, PC, computer projector, screen, microphone, and pointer) will be available in each lecture room.

Seminar sessions

Authors of papers selected for presentation in the seminar format will be expected to give their presentation during a 2.5- hour period organised as follows: In the first hour each author will present a brief summary (3 minutes) in conventional lecture-room format during one of several parallel sessions. In the remaining time authors will present their works concurrently in more detail with the aid of their posters. The Congress will provide poster boards and stands. The usable area of a poster panel is approximately 1.1m (height) by 1m (width).
